David Arora
A beautifully illustrated month by month field guide to foraging, including coastal foraging, plants and fungi, as well as safety advice, seasonal recipes and sooking tips.
An authorative, 1,700 page two-volume masterwork featuring over 7,000 photos of over 2,800 species. This is not cheap - but it is by far the best, most comprehensive guide so far.
This earns its place in any mushroom guide book list, if only for the best cover photo and title ever! But it is more than that. Arora blends authorative scitntific identification with eccentric humour, community annecdotes, recipes and folklore. A fabulous book.
